The Forge Gastropub is expanding, and we are searching for a talented Junior Pastry Cook to join our creative culinary team! If you have relevant experience in pastry, a keen eye for detail, the ability to perform under pressure, and a passion for creating delicious desserts and baked goods, we invite you to sweeten our team in Bali!
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience for the position applied is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed appearance and confident presence.
- Detail and goal oriented.
- Able to perform under high pressure in busy environment.
- Able to work full-time including some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Your Role as Our Junior Pastry Cook:
- Assisting the pastry chef in preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, bread, and other baked goods.
- Following recipes accurately and maintaining consistent quality.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the pastry section and equipment.
- Managing ingredient inventory for the pastry department.
- Contributing to creative new dessert ideas and presentations.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely production for service.
