The Forge Gastropub is expanding, and we are looking for a passionate Junior Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team! If you have relevant kitchen experience, are detail-oriented, able to perform under pressure, and keen to grow your culinary skills in a busy environment, we invite you to be a part of our exciting culinary journey in Bali!
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience for the position applied is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed appearance and confident presence.
- Detail and goal oriented.
- Able to perform under high pressure in busy environment.
- Able to work full-time including some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Your Role as Our Junior Cook:
- Assisting senior cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the kitchen stations and equipment.
- Following recipes and food safety standards diligently.
- Learning various cooking techniques and contributing to dish quality.
- Managing inventory and informing supervisors of stock needs.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service.
